The Director’s Cut hits England this September in the 17th annual Raindance Film Festival.

Raindance runs from the 30th of September to the 10th of October at the Apollo Cinema in the heart of London.

The festival runs from September 18 to 24.

Wasa MAXThe Director’s Cut has won 3 of the 6 awards it was nominated for in the early careers section of the 22nd WA Screen Awards.

Christopher de Groot won best Original Music Composition,
Ivan Davidov won best Cinematogaphy and
Noah Joseph James won best Editing.

The Director’s Cut at FOFF

foffposterDue to the recent WASA nominations, The Director’s Cut will be screening at this year’s Fremantle Outdoor Film Festival as part of the WASA Wednesday Showcase.

The screening is on Wednesday the 18th of February at the Bohemia Outdoor Cinema, Princess May Park, Fremantle (next to FTI). Gates open 7:30pm and entry will cost you a gold coin donation. Further details here.

Sneak Preview a success

dc-preview The Director’s Cut cast & crew (& friends & friends of friends) sneak preview was a great success.

The event was held at Ace Cinema in Subiaco on the 30th of January. Extra seating was brought in to accommodate an estimated 300 guests who packed out a 277 capacity theatre.

The turn out and response was fantastic.
